How it works:
Generate an idea.
What comes to mind when you think about contributing? Who, what, or where would benefit from your efforts?
Looking for inspiration? Check out what others have contributed in past years, or this service project toolkit from Youth Service America.
Craft the plan.
Once you have an idea, it’s time to sketch out a plan. You’ll need to specify what contribution you’ll make, and why it’s important to you. Know that you can work on your own or as a team with others!
Sometimes even great ideas can sit on shelves. If you need some help getting started, you can follow these steps to ensure your idea is feasible and actionable.
Share your idea with us!
Anyone (12-18) enrolled in 4-H with a contribution idea can apply. All ideas meeting our criteria will be entered into the randomized selection process.
We designed the application to be simple. You can check out the questions you’ll be asked here. Remember that applications open February 1, 2024 and close on February 21, 2024.
Make it happen.
Once your is idea selected, it’s time to deliver. The pursuit of your contribution is in your hands along with $200 on us.
